Doha: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Doha for a day to personally extend condolences from the people and Government of Pakistan to Qatar on the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Amir. He was accompanied by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Atta Ullah Tarar, and other senior officials.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistani delegation met with Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to express their condolences for the loss. The Prime Minister paid tribute to the Father Amir’s leadership and contributions to Qatar’s development and regional stability. He also recalled the Father Amir’s visits to Pakistan and his support for the country.
Prime Minister Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s solidarity with Qatar during this time of mourning and offered prayers for the departed. The Amir of Qatar expressed gratitude for the visit, highlighting the strong ties between the two nations.
