Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Visit Belarus for Key Talks

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit the Republic of Belarus from April 10 to 11, 2025, at the invitation of President Aleksandr Lukashenko. This visit aims to build on the momentum from President Lukashenko’s visit to Pakistan in November 2024.

The Prime Minister’s itinerary includes discussions with President Lukashenko focused on reviewing progress in areas of mutual interest. Significant groundwork has been laid over the past six months through several high-level engagements. Notably, the 8th Session of the Joint Ministerial Commission took place in February 2025, followed by a visit from a mixed ministerial delegation to Belarus in April.

During the visit, both sides are expected to sign multiple agreements to enhance cooperation further. The Prime Minister’s visit highlights the ongoing partnership between Pakistan and Belarus, underscoring a commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
