Islamabad: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi met with Huawei’s Deputy CEO Ray Yu to explore potential collaborations in digital transformation initiatives. The discussions focused on how Huawei could assist the Government of Pakistan in accelerating technological advancements across various sectors.
Ray Yu expressed Huawei’s enthusiasm for partnering with Pakistan, emphasizing the company’s interest in boosting digital infrastructure. Khalid Hussain Magsi acknowledged the significant role Huawei and other Chinese companies have played in enhancing Pakistan’s IT infrastructure.
The minister highlighted the commitment of both public and private sectors to positioning Pakistan as a regional technology hub. He noted that integrating modern technology could substantially increase productivity in agriculture and industry.
