Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Praises Armed Forces During Quetta Visit


Quetta: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the Command and Staff College in Quetta, where he addressed faculty and student officers, emphasizing the professionalism, operational preparedness, and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces in safeguarding national sovereignty and maintaining peace.



According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the Shuhada and highlighted the historic victory of the Pakistan Armed Forces in the Marka-e-Haq under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. He noted Pakistan’s responsible conduct and escalation control in response to India’s aggression and reaffirmed the country’s resolve to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.



The Prime Minister discussed the ongoing Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, aimed at defending citizens against Afghan Taliban-based terrorist proxies and targeting terrorist hideouts. He reiterated support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.



Acknowledging students from friendly countries, he stressed the importance of military diplomacy and cooperation, noting Pakistan’s role as a regional stabilizer contributing to peace and progression. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Federal Defence, Interior, and Information Ministers, as well as the Chief Minister of Balochistan. Upon arrival, he was received by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS and CDF.
