Zurich: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has departed for home after concluding his official visit to Switzerland. During the visit, Shehbaz Sharif engaged in high-level discussions focusing on the implementation of ‘The Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding’ alongside senior Swiss officials and Pakistan’s top military leadership.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif, accompanied by Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, participated in the discussions held in Bürgenstock, Switzerland. The talks were aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation, with both sides committed to advancing the objectives outlined in the memorandum. The departure ceremony at Zurich Airport was attended by senior Swiss officials and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Marghoob Saleem Butt, who bid farewell to the Prime Minister.
