Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Begins Official Two-Day Visit to Tajikistan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has embarked on a two-day official visit to Dushanbe today, following an invitation from Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon. This visit is part of ongoing high-level exchanges aimed at bolstering bilateral relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, During his stay in Dushanbe, Prime Minister Sharif will hold meetings with key Tajik leaders including President Rahmon, Chairman of Majlisi Neoantigen Mahmadtoir Zoir Zokirzoda, and Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda. The discussions will focus on a broad range of topics such as regional connectivity, trade, people-to-people contacts, energy, and cooperation on multilateral issues, with the aim of deepening bilateral cooperation.

The visit will also see the signing of various agreements and Memorandums of Understanding in different areas of mutual interest, marking a significant step forward in the collaborative efforts between the two nations.
