Islamabad: In a telephone conversation between Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, the two leaders discussed the recently signed Islamabad Peace Deal and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring continued diplomatic efforts between Iran and the United States progress smoothly. The Prime Minister expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s support in achieving the agreement and extended an invitation for an official visit to Pakistan.
According to Press Information Department, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman praised the efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in facilitating the peace deal and emphasized the importance of vigilance to prevent any disruptions in the ongoing negotiations. Both leaders also expressed satisfaction with the state of bilateral relations and agreed on the importance of finalizing a comprehensive economic package between their countries.
Prime Minister Sharif conveyed good wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and reiterated his invitation to the Crown Prince for an official visit. The conversation concluded with a commitment to maintain close coordination in the future.
