Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to express Pakistan’s strong condemnation of Houthi militia attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea. During the discussion, the Prime Minister emphasized that such actions violate international law, threaten maritime freedom, and jeopardize regional stability.
According to Press Information Department, Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stating that the nation stands firmly with the Saudi leadership during this critical period. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the Kingdom’s security and prosperity, assuring that Pakistan will continue to collaborate closely with Saudi Arabia and the international community to ensure peace and security in the region.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman acknowledged Pakistan’s unwavering support and the strong fraternal relationship between the two nations. Prime Minister Sharif also extended warm regards to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, underscoring the enduring ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
