Prime Minister Reaffirms Commitment to Comprehensive Health Care for All

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing comprehensive health care services to all citizens, marking World Health Day with a message focusing on “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.” The theme underscores the significance of newborn health in shaping promising futures.

The Prime Minister acknowledged Pakistan’s progress in maternal and child health but emphasized the need for further development. He highlighted the necessity of advancing the health system to address medical and social challenges impacting maternity and neonatal health.

Sharif stressed the government’s determination to integrate modern technology and establish robust partnerships to enhance public health facilities. He called for a coordinated and multi-sectoral approach, encompassing healthcare, education, nutrition, environment, and management, as essential for successful health outcomes.

In his statement, Sharif urged a collective commitment to these strategies as the nation observes World Health Day 2025, aiming for improved health care services and outcomes across Pakistan.
