Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has vowed to eradicate the rising tide of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, emphasizing that it will be stopped at all costs. In a meeting with Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam, the Prime Minister discussed pressing issues related to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif underscored the government’s commitment to ensuring that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa develops on par with other regions of the country. He reiterated the government’s appreciation for the sacrifices made by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in combating terrorism.
The Prime Minister also directed sustained efforts to bolster the welfare, development, and provision of essential services to the residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. He highlighted that advancing the development and prosperity of these areas is among the government’s top priorities.
