Prime Minister of Pakistan Expresses Solidarity with Qatar Amid Regional Hostilities


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephone conversation with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, on March 25, 2026, discussing the ongoing hostilities affecting the region. The conversation, described as warm and cordial, included the exchange of Eid ul Fitr greetings.



According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister voiced his serious concern over the regional hostilities, condemning attacks against Qatar and other Gulf countries. He expressed condolences for the lives lost in these attacks and assured Pakistan’s full solidarity and support for Qatar. The discussion also highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for peace and the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving conflicts.



The Amir of Qatar expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at fostering regional peace. Both leaders committed to maintaining close communication in the upcoming days.
