Prime Minister Expresses Gratitude to UAE for Continued Support

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed Pakistan’s appreciation for the United Arab Emirates’ sustained support across multiple sectors, during a recent telephone call with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The call, which coincided with the celebration of Eid ul Fitr, also saw the Prime Minister extending warm greetings to the Emirati leader.

Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and the UAE, reaffirming Islamabad’s commitment to further strengthening the cordial relations for mutually beneficial cooperation. The UAE President reciprocated the Eid greetings and conveyed his best wishes to the people of Pakistan.

In a similar gesture, Prime Minister Sharif also reached out to King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain, extending warm Eid ul Fitr greetings. During the conversation, he emphasized the historic bonds between Pakistan and Bahrain and expressed a strong desire to enhance bilateral relations, particularly in trade and investment.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Bahraini leadership for their support to the Pakistani community residing in the Kingdom. These diplomatic exchanges underscore Pakistan’s efforts to foster stronger ties within the region.
