Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has approved the conferment of the Sitara-i-Khidmat, along with a cash prize of ten million rupees, for Nurse Razia Noreen, who risked her life to save a child during a fire incident at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister paid tribute to Noreen’s courage, noting her exemplary responsibility and bravery in the face of danger. Noreen’s actions involved rescuing a child from flames just before major destruction occurred at the hospital. Sharif expressed national pride in Noreen’s dedication and emphasized that individuals like her deserve the highest level of appreciation and recognition.
