President Zardari Urges Swift Resolution of Public Complaints


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has emphasized the importance of promptly addressing public grievances, following a meeting with Wafaqi Mohtasib, Naveed Kamran Baloch, who presented the 2025 Annual Report at Aiwan-e-Sadr.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Wafaqi Mohtasib briefed President Zardari on the institution’s accomplishments and ongoing initiatives to enhance public access to administrative justice. The report highlighted the redressal of 261,101 complaints in 2025, an increase from the 223,198 complaints addressed in 2024, with a significant implementation rate of 96.8 percent. The Mohtasib also noted the expansion of the institution’s presence to 28 cities and the establishment of One Window Facilitation Desks for Overseas Pakistanis at international airports. Notably, 88 percent of the complaints were resolved within the statutory 60-day timeframe.



President Zardari commended the efforts of the Wafaqi Mohtasib, acknowledging the valuable service it provides to the populace. He stressed the need to further promote the institution’s activities, particularly its initiatives for the swift redressal of public complaints, to ensure that more individuals can benefit from its services.
