Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed his congratulations to the government and citizens of Sweden in celebration of the country’s National Day.
According to Press Information Department: President Zardari highlighted the enduring and cordial relations between Pakistan and Sweden, which were established in 1949. He emphasized the mutual respect and shared dedication to international peace and cooperation that underpin these ties.
The President expressed satisfaction with the ongoing progress in bilateral engagements, particularly in renewable energy, technology, telecommunications, textiles, and agriculture. He noted the significant potential to increase the bilateral trade volume and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing these mutually beneficial relations in the future.
