Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has issued a strong condemnation following a deadly improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Bannu, expressing sorrow over the loss of civilian lives and extending condolences to the families affected by the tragedy. The President also emphasized the nation’s resolve to defeat terrorism.

According to Press Information Department, President Zardari conveyed his deep grief and offered his condolences to the grieving families, while also praying for the quick recovery of those injured in the explosion. In his remarks, he assured the bereaved families of his support during this challenging period.

The President delivered a stern warning to those providing support to terrorist networks, both internally and externally. He highlighted that these elements aim to undermine Pakistan’s diplomatic progress and peace efforts. President Zardari reaffirmed the country’s commitment to supporting regional and global peace initiatives, asserting that terrorism will ultimately be overcome.
