President Zardari Calls for Enhanced International Cooperation in Business and Investment

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has urged Pakistan’s newly appointed ambassadors to prioritize strengthening ties with their host countries, focusing on bolstering trade, economic, political, and diplomatic relations. During separate meetings with Pakistan’s ambassadors-designate to Morocco, Switzerland, and the Philippines, the President expressed a keen interest in fostering increased cooperation in business and investment sectors with friendly nations.

The ambassadors-designate—Syed Adil Gilani to Morocco, Dr. Marghoob Saleem Butt to Switzerland, and Dr. Asma Rabbani to the Philippines—were congratulated by President Zardari on their new roles. He extended his best wishes to them, emphasizing the importance of their contributions in enhancing Pakistan’s international partnerships.
