President Zardari Approves Prime Minister’s Security Advice for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved a significant security measure for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by signing the Prime Minister’s advice on the region’s security situation. This decision aligns with Articles 232 and 234 of the Constitution of Pakistan, reflecting the government’s response to escalating concerns in the area.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President’s agreement came after a series of considerations, including the Federal Cabinet’s decision, the Prime Minister’s counsel, and reports from relevant law enforcement institutions. The decision also follows unsuccessful negotiations with government delegations, prompting the need for this executive action to address the law and order challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
