Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has granted his approval to four legislative bills, marking a significant step in the legislative process.

According to Radio Pakistan, the bills signed into law include The Carriage by Air (Amendment) Bill, 2026, The Pakistan Airports Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026, The Fiscal Responsibility and Debt Limitation (Amendment) Bill, 2026, and the Iqbal Academy (Amendment) Bill, 2026. These amendments address various sectors, from aviation to fiscal policy, and are part of ongoing efforts to update existing legislation.

In addition to the legislative approvals, President Zardari has also sanctioned the appointment of Ms. Ayesha Humaira Chaudhry as a member of the Federal Public Service Commission, a move aimed at strengthening the commission’s capacity.
