Ghana Defence Delegation Explores Bilateral Cooperation with Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence Production

Rawalpindi: A high-ranking defence delegation from Ghana, led by Abdul-Razak Osman, National Security Coordinator, and Lt. Gen. William Agyapong, Chief of Defence Staff Ghana, visited Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence Production on June 16, 2026. The visit was part of efforts to enhance defence-industrial collaboration between the two countries.

According to Press Information Department, the delegation was received at the Ministry and engaged in discussions on proposals for defence collaboration. The visit highlighted the commitment of both nations to deepen their longstanding defence relations.

During the visit, the Ghanaian delegates toured multiple defence production facilities in Pakistan to gain insight into the country’s industrial capabilities. This engagement provided a platform for both sides to explore mutual interests, exchange expertise, and identify potential areas for cooperation, including technology transfer and industrial partnerships.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to promoting mutually beneficial collaboration and expanding cooperation in the defence production sector.
