Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari received the Wafaqi Mohtasib’s Annual Report for 2025 during a meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr. The report highlighted significant achievements, including the resolution of a record number of complaints and the expansion of services across the country.
According to Press Information Department, Wafaqi Mohtasib Naveed Kamran Baloch presented the report, which detailed the handling of 261,101 complaints in 2025, compared to 223,198 in the previous year, achieving a 96.8% implementation rate. The report also noted the institution’s expansion to 28 cities and the establishment of One Window Facilitation Desks for Overseas Pakistanis at international airports, with nearly 88% of complaints resolved within the statutory 60-day period.
President Zardari commended the Wafaqi Mohtasib’s efforts, emphasizing the importance of promoting the institution’s activities to enhance public access to its services. He noted the institution’s role in providing administrative justice and urged for increased awareness of its initiatives for efficient complaint redressal.
