Bahraini Foreign Minister Meets Pakistani Prime Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Ties


Islamabad: His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Foreign Minister of Bahrain, met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad as part of his visit to Pakistan for the 3rd Session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the two nations in various sectors, including trade and energy.



According to Press Information Department, Prime Minister Sharif extended a warm welcome to Foreign Minister Al Zayani, expressing appreciation for the enduring relations between Pakistan and Bahrain. The Prime Minister highlighted the mutual trust and shared values that form the foundation of the relationship. He also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties in areas such as investment and human resource development.



Foreign Minister Al Zayani conveyed greetings from Bahrain’s leadership and emphasized Bahrain’s dedication to expanding bilateral cooperation. The discussions included regional and international developments, with both sides agreeing on the importance of ongoing consultations on matters of mutual interest. Al Zayani acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and stability.



The Prime Minister expressed optimism that the Joint Ministerial Commission session would boost cooperation and enhance the multifaceted relationship between Pakistan and Bahrain. The meeting underscored the close and longstanding ties between the two nations.
