President and PM Honor Captain Sarwar Shaheed on 78th Martyrdom Anniversary


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on the seventy-eighth anniversary of his martyrdom. They commended his sacrifice, courage, and commitment during the First Kashmir War in 1948.



According to Radio Pakistan, in their separate statements, the leaders emphasized Captain Sarwar’s enduring legacy. President Zardari described the martyrs as a national asset, highlighting their role in the defense of Pakistan. Prime Minister Sharif remarked on Captain Sarwar’s historical impact, citing his sense of duty and military strategy.
