New York: Portugal’s Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel, has praised Pakistan’s mediation efforts in West Asia during a meeting with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, in New York. The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing regional developments and collaboration at multilateral forums, notably the United Nations.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting also delved into the Palestinian issue, with both leaders exchanging views on the matter. During the discussions, Ishaq Dar extended an invitation to Paulo Rangel to visit Pakistan, an offer that was warmly accepted by the Portuguese Foreign Minister.
