PM Shehbaz Sharif Welcomes Chinese Business Delegation, Highlights Expanding B2B Ties


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the expanding “Business to Business” (B2B) cooperation between Pakistan and China, following discussions with a high-level Chinese business delegation. The delegation was led by Qian Xiaojun, President and Controlling Shareholder of IBI Beijing United Technology, during their visit to Islamabad.



According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif welcomed the delegation and emphasized the historic ties between Pakistan and China, describing the two nations as All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partners. He praised China’s progress under President Xi Jinping’s leadership and expressed anticipation for his upcoming visit to China.



The Prime Minister highlighted the decision by IBI Group to establish its Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters as a positive development in B2B relations. He noted that the group would facilitate digital economy cooperation, investment, and industrial collaboration.



Qian Xiaojun shared his confidence in Pakistan’s economy and highlighted IBI’s ambition to support the digital transformation of Pakistan’s economy. He stated that the new headquarters would serve as a command center for this transformation, offering significant opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises in Pakistan by providing access to the expansive Chinese market.
