PM Shehbaz Sharif Pledges to Enhance Ties with Bahrain in Key Sectors


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has committed to deepening Pakistan’s cooperation with Bahrain in several key areas, including trade, investment, energy, and human resource development. This was highlighted during a meeting with Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, who visited Islamabad to co-chair the third session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations and welcomed the Bahraini Foreign Minister, conveying best wishes to Bahrain’s leadership and citizens. He emphasized the strong, enduring ties between the two nations, rooted in shared values and mutual trust.



Dr. Al Zayani brought greetings from the Bahraini leadership and affirmed Bahrain’s dedication to enhancing cooperation in areas beneficial to both countries. The meeting included discussions on regional and international developments, highlighting the importance of ongoing dialogue and coordination on shared interests.



Prime Minister Sharif expressed optimism that the Joint Ministerial Commission session would further bolster bilateral cooperation, reinforcing the multifaceted relationship between Pakistan and Bahrain. The meeting, characterized by a warm and friendly atmosphere, underscored the strong fraternal ties that have long connected the two countries.
