ISLAMABAD: A ceremony took place in Islamabad for the unveiling of Yadgar-e-Fatah, a monument symbolizing Pakistan’s victory in Marka-e-Haq. According to Radio Pakistan, the event was organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with the Capital Development Authority.
The ceremony was attended by Federal Secretary of Information and Broadcasting, Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil, along with senior officials and citizens from various sectors. The special guests included high-achieving youth recognized for their contributions in different fields.
A highlight of the evening was a 3D projection mapping and illumination display on the monument, showcasing Pakistan’s journey in Marka-e-Haq and honoring the roles of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Musical performances by notable singers also featured, with tributes paid to martyrs and Ghazis.
Yadgar-e-Fatah stands 220 feet high as a testament to the nation’s unity and the courage of its Armed Forces. The monument will be open to the public from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday, with free tickets available at yadgarefatah.com.
