PM Shehbaz Sharif Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Airports

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued a strong condemnation of the Houthi militia’s ongoing attacks on Saudi Arabian airports, including King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport, which have led to civilian casualties and injuries.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister commended the Saudi armed forces and the Coalition for their vigilance and professionalism in intercepting multiple ballistic missiles. He acknowledged their efforts in safeguarding innocent lives and protecting the Kingdom. Sharif expressed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, aligning with the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement and the recent decisions of its Strategic Political and Defense Committee, emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security.

Sharif also affirmed Pakistan’s full support for Saudi Arabia’s legitimate right to defend its population and protect its cities and infrastructure. He called for an immediate cessation of these attacks by the Houthi militia and reiterated Pakistan’s stance of standing alongside Saudi Arabia against such threats.
