PM Shehbaz Sharif and Sultan of Oman Discuss Regional Situation and Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephonic conversation with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, addressing the evolving regional situation and reinforcing bilateral relations between the two nations. The dialogue, which took place this afternoon, also included mutual greetings for Eid and best wishes for peace and well-being in both countries.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the call, Prime Minister Sharif expressed solidarity with the people of Oman in light of recent attacks that resulted in casualties and injuries. He emphasized the importance of maintaining peace, stability, and constructive dialogue in the region.

The conversation further cemented the longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and Oman. Both leaders expressed their commitment to strengthening these ties, with Prime Minister Sharif extending an invitation to Sultan Haitham to visit Pakistan. Sultan Haitham also invited Prime Minister Sharif for a visit to Oman, to be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
