PM Reaffirms Pakistan-China Strategic Partnership Commitment


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership during a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador, Jiang Zaidong, in Islamabad. The discussion underscored the ongoing collaboration between the two nations, focusing on implementing key agreements for the mutual benefit of their citizens.



According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang, reflecting on his visit to China earlier this year. He emphasized the importance of close cooperation to advance the strategic agreements made by the leadership of both countries.



The meeting also addressed regional dynamics, covering developments in the Middle East, Afghanistan, and South Asia. Ambassador Jiang Zaidong reiterated China’s support for Pakistan, describing the relationship as one between “iron brothers” and pledging continued support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and socio-economic progress.
