Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to swiftly counter any aggression directed at the country. In a statement marking the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, he emphasized gratitude for divine blessings and paid tribute to the nation’s resilience in the face of adversity.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the nation’s unity and the coordinated efforts of the military across various domains—land, sea, air, and cyber—in establishing Pakistan as an indomitable force. He expressed appreciation for the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber, and Admiral Naveed Ashraf in achieving strategic superiority.
Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s desire for peace, while also making clear that any attempts to undermine the nation’s security would be met with a decisive response. He further affirmed the country’s commitment to resolving the Kashmir issue in line with international resolutions and the aspirations of its people.
The Prime Minister also noted Pakistan’s role in mediating the US-Iran conflict, underscoring the country’s dedication to global peace and stability. As the nation commemorates the success of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, the Prime Minister saluted the armed forces for their professionalism and sacrifice in defending national sovereignty.
