Pishin Sets Comprehensive Strategy for Upcoming Anti-Polio Campaign

Pishin: Deputy Commissioner Zahid Khan chaired a meeting to refine strategies for the forthcoming anti-polio campaign in Pishin, focusing on meticulous planning and community involvement to ensure the eradication of polio. The comprehensive session addressed multiple facets of the campaign, including team training, security, and public awareness.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting outlined key aspects such as the micro plan for the campaign, establishment of transit points, and innovative approaches like finger and door marking to track vaccination progress. District Health Officer Dr. Sultan Muhammad Musa Khel and other senior officials, including security and communication coordinators, discussed enhancing the safety and effectiveness of the vaccination teams.

Deputy Commissioner Khan emphasized the crucial role of local communities in supporting the polio eradication initiative, urging all residents to contribute actively to safeguard children from the disease. He stressed the importance of resolving any operational challenges swiftly to maintain the integrity of the campaign and achieve a polio-free status for the region.
