LAHORE: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Parvaiz Malik conducted a visit to the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Head Office in Lahore, accompanied by Secretary Petroleum Division Momin Agha. The visit aimed to address pressing challenges within SNGPL and the broader petroleum sector.

SNGPL Managing Director Amer Tufail welcomed the minister and provided a detailed briefing on the company’s current affairs. During the visit, Minister Malik engaged in discussions with the SNGPL management, emphasizing that the government’s top priority is to ensure an efficient gas supply to the public.

The minister highlighted the necessity for innovation within the system to enhance the gas supply chain and to rectify deficiencies in the distribution network. Various strategies were discussed to overcome challenges in the supply chain.

Minister Malik issued directives to the SNGPL management, urging them to carry out their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, and transparency. The Petroleum Division assured its full cooperation in addressing and resolving critical issues facing the sector.
