PEL Ships First Transformers to U.S., Marking Export Milestone

Lahore: Pak Electron Limited (PEL) has announced the commencement of its export operations to the United States with the first shipment of transformers departing Pakistan on March 13, 2025. This marks a significant step in PEL’s strategy to expand its global footprint and explore international markets.

The company’s entry into the U.S. market is facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council, which has been instrumental in promoting Pakistani industrial exports. The council’s trade policies have aimed to ensure stability and improve the global competitiveness of Pakistani products.

PEL, known for its manufacturing of transformers and household appliances, is seeking to enhance its international presence. The export initiative aligns with PEL’s ongoing efforts to cultivate strategic partnerships and tap into new market opportunities.

In its pursuit of global expansion, PEL has formed alliances with major international companies, including Hitachi, Mitsubishi, and General Electric. These partnerships are expected to bolster PEL’s capabilities and further its reach in the global market.

The commencement of U.S. exports represents a pivotal moment for PEL, as it seeks to assert its position in the international arena while contributing to the promotion of Pakistani industrial exports.
