ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary Secretary for Commerce Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti visited the headquarters of the Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) of Pakistan in Islamabad, where he acknowledged the organization’s critical role in fostering economic growth through the promotion of intellectual property rights.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Bhatti was received by Chairperson Farukh Amil, Director General Ms. Shazia Adnan, and other IPO officers. During the visit, the Chairperson and the Director General provided a briefing on the organization’s initiatives to advance intellectual property rights such as trademarks, patents, copyrights, and geographical indications.
Dr. Bhatti expressed appreciation for IPO Pakistan’s performance and underscored the importance of its work in nurturing a supportive environment for innovation and entrepreneurship. He recognized the organization’s efforts as instrumental in enhancing the country’s economic development.
