Islamabad: The Parliamentary Caucus on Child Rights (PCCR) has conducted a consultative visit to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, focusing on out-of-school children and the National Education Emergency. This initiative, led by Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and PCCR Convenor Dr. Nikhat Shakeel Khan, MNA, seeks to address pressing educational challenges in Pakistan.

The purpose of the visit was to engage provincial legislators, stakeholders, and child rights advocates in developing a strategic roadmap aimed at providing access to quality education for every child in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The meeting saw the participation of members from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, government officials, education experts, and representatives from various civil society organizations.

This visit is part of a broader PCCR initiative, with similar consultations conducted in other provinces, to gather insights and create a comprehensive national strategy for child education and welfare.

The PCCR continues its commitment to working with provincial entities to safeguard the right to education for every child, ensuring inclusivity in educational opportunities across the nation.
