ISLAMABAD: The Grand Mufti of Palestine, Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Hussein, and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habash, Qazi-ul-Quza of Palestine, have arrived in Pakistan to participate in the 6th International Paigham-e-Islam Conference scheduled for Wednesday in Islamabad. Their arrival underscores the ongoing engagement between the religious communities of Palestine and Pakistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, the dignitaries were welcomed at Islamabad Airport by Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan. The Grand Mufti expressed gratitude, emphasizing the enduring bond between the people of Palestine and Pakistan, and acknowledged Pakistan’s continued support for the Palestinian cause.
