Pakistan’s Sesame Exports to China Surge by 179%

Islamabad: Pakistan’s agricultural exports have experienced a noteworthy increase, largely driven by the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council. Recent data indicates that sesame exports to China have surged by an impressive 179 percent.

In the first two months of the current year, Pakistan exported 22,740 metric tons of sesame to China. This substantial growth highlights the burgeoning trade relations between the two nations.

The significant rise in sesame exports is expected to bolster Pakistan’s agricultural sector and contribute to economic stabilization. The Special Investment Facilitation Council’s support appears to be a critical factor in this upward trend.

The increased export figures underscore the potential for further growth in Pakistan’s agricultural exports, which could play a key role in enhancing the country’s economic resilience.
