Pakistan’s IT Exports Rise to $1.25 Billion in First Quarter Due to SIFC Support

Islamabad: Pakistan’s IT exports have risen to $1.25 billion in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, driven by the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). The growth in IT exports is contributing to the country’s digital economy and generating new employment opportunities for skilled youth.

According to Radio Pakistan, the increase in IT exports underscores the impact of initiatives by the SIFC, which is focused on fostering investment and facilitating growth in Pakistan’s technology sector. The council’s efforts are seen as pivotal in enhancing the capabilities and reach of the country’s IT industry on a global scale.

The expansion of IT exports is also linked to Pakistan’s broader economic strategy to leverage its young, skilled workforce in the digital economy. The rise in exports is expected to continue as more initiatives are introduced to support the sector and further integrate it into the global market.
