Pakistan’s Fish Exports Reach Record $568 Million in FY 2025-26: Junaid

Islamabad: Pakistan’s exports of fish and fish preparations reached a record $568 million during the fiscal year 2025-26, according to Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry. The Minister highlighted this achievement in a statement, attributing the export growth to shipments primarily directed towards China, Thailand, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Indonesia, and the United States.

According to Radio Pakistan, frozen fish remained the top export commodity, generating $105.09 million. The Minister underscored the government’s commitment to enhancing quality assurance systems, expanding export destinations, and improving the global competitiveness of the fisheries industry.
