Pakistan’s Economic Recovery Shows Promising Growth Indicators

Islamabad: Pakistan’s economy has entered a phase of promising growth, marked by notable improvements in key economic indicators, according to recent data. The country’s economic growth rate reached 3.7 percent this year, with the overall size of the economy expanding to $452 billion.

According to Radio Pakistan, industrial output has seen a significant rise, with large-scale manufacturing growing by 6.5 percent. In a historic first for Pakistan, the fiscal deficit has been reduced to 0.7 percent, while government revenues have surpassed expenditures. Additionally, the country’s foreign exchange reserves have strengthened, rising to over $17 billion.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has reported a record registration of more than 297,000 companies, indicating a robust entrepreneurial climate and a growing business environment. The data reflects a positive trajectory for Pakistan’s economic recovery, suggesting a stable foundation for sustained growth in the coming years.
