Islamabad: Pakistan’s Information Technology and digital services sector is experiencing notable expansion, with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry leading the charge. Recent data indicates that export earnings from BPO and call centers have surpassed $300 million in the first eleven months of the fiscal year 2025-26, marking a significant milestone for the sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, this growth is underscored by a 19 percent increase in call center exports, reflecting a rising global demand for such services. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has been pivotal in enhancing customer support operations, allowing Pakistani service providers to compete more effectively on the international stage. AI-driven solutions are transforming the outsourcing industry by facilitating automation, expediting customer services, and improving data analytics capabilities.

The report further highlights that approximately 90 percent of Pakistan’s call centers and BPO companies cater to overseas clients, contributing to the country’s foreign exchange earnings. This trend underscores the increasing reliance on Pakistani firms for outsourced digital services worldwide.
