Islamabad: The Armed Forces of Pakistan have reiterated their unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s struggle to achieve their right to self-determination, as provided for under international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions. This reaffirmation emphasizes Pakistan’s continued solidarity with Kashmir amid ongoing tensions.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement highlighting the commitment of Pakistan’s military leadership, including Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu. The leaders expressed their solidarity with the resilient population of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The statement further underscored the ongoing illegal occupation of IIOJK by Indian security forces, marked by military siege, human rights violations, and demographic changes, as a matter of serious concern.
