Islamabad: Intending pilgrims for Hajj 2026 have been advised to complete their medical questionnaires on the Pak Hajj App by tomorrow, as part of new requirements set by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. The move aims to enhance medical assistance by creating a digital database for 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims.

According to Radio Pakistan, Muhammad Umar Butt, the spokesperson for the Ministry, emphasized that the digital medical records are mandatory under the Saudi Government’s directives. This initiative is intended to ensure timely and accurate medical support during the Hajj, which involves significant physical exertion and the potential for medical emergencies. Pilgrims are required to upload their health-related details on the app within the next 36 hours.

The medical questionnaire, which includes information on chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart conditions, is designed to facilitate coordinated medical care. Pilgrims must indicate “Yes” or “No” in response to each health condition. The Pak Hajj App has also been upgraded to function as a comprehensive portal, allowing pilgrims to print their Hajj visas and access flight schedules.

Muhammad Umar Butt highlighted that the Ministry is continuously updating the app with new information and urged pilgrims to complete their medical profiles by Friday to prevent any inconvenience.
