Islamabad: Pakistan and Jordan have called for a de-escalation of the current regional tensions following a telephone conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi. The two leaders discussed pressing issues affecting the region and emphasized the importance of reducing tensions to ensure peace and stability.
According to Radio Pakistan, during their conversation, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to supporting any initiatives aimed at promoting regional peace and stability. Both leaders agreed to maintain close communication as the situation develops.
