Manila: A delegation from Pakistan’s parliament, including several senators and an advisor, visited the Senate of the Republic of the Philippines to observe its proceedings and engage in diplomatic discussions. The visit highlighted the ongoing commitment between the two nations to enhance parliamentary diplomacy and institutional cooperation.
According to Senate of Pakistan, the delegation was led by Senator Khalida Ateeb and included Senator Husna Bano, Senator Rahat Jamali, and Advisor to the Chairman Senate Ms. Misbah Khar. They were warmly welcomed by the President of the Philippine Senate, Sherwin Gatchalian, and acknowledged during a Senate sitting. This gesture underscored the cordial relations between the two countries.
