Ottawa: Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Canada, Muhammad Saleem, has extended an invitation to Canadian businessmen to invest in Pakistan, aiming to strengthen the economic and trade connections between the two countries.
Speaking at a ceremony held at the Pakistan High Commission in Ottawa, Saleem emphasized the existing potential to enhance bilateral economic, trade, and cultural ties. He noted that Canada is already one of the top five countries investing in Pakistan.
Saleem highlighted various sectors ripe for investment, including mining, information technology, agriculture, energy, and infrastructure. He urged the Canadian business community to expand their investment portfolios in these areas.
The High Commissioner’s remarks underscore the ongoing efforts to foster economic collaboration and mutual growth between Pakistan and Canada.
