Paris: Pakistan’s Ambassador to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, has emphasized the need for stronger connections between Pakistan, France, and the Francophone world, highlighting the significant role played by the Pakistani diaspora in this effort. Addressing the Association of Pakistani Francophone Professionals (AFFP) at an event held at the Pakistani Embassy in Paris, Ambassador Baloch praised the community’s contributions to fostering bilateral cooperation and enhancing people-to-people links.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Baloch underscored the importance of professionals, academics, entrepreneurs, and civil society members in building bridges between the two countries. She commended the AFFP for its efforts in promoting professional networking and cultural dialogue, and acknowledged the active engagement of the Pakistani diaspora in local democratic processes, including participation in local elections. The ambassador also lauded their positive contributions to French society and the enduring friendship between Pakistan and France.
