ISLAMABAD: Pakistani astronauts Khurram Dawood and Muhammad Zeeshan Ali met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad today as they prepare for an upcoming human space mission. The Prime Minister commended the astronauts, emphasizing the mission’s importance as a milestone for the country and a source of national pride.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed his confidence in the astronauts’ ability to make history for Pakistan. He noted that the China-assisted mission is expected to enhance the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and China. The astronauts acknowledged the opportunity to conduct research in space as a unique honor and pledged to fulfill the nation’s expectations through their diligence.
