ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Ishaq Dar, conducted a bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of Türkiye, H.E. Hakan Fidan, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional stability.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting took place at the Foreign Office during Fidan’s visit to Pakistan, alongside the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, for consultations on the evolving regional situation and efforts aimed at de-escalation. The discussions highlighted the historic and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Türkiye and explored avenues to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to review bilateral relations and exchange views on recent regional developments, including the situation in Iran. They emphasized the importance of dialogue and sustained diplomatic engagement to promote peace and stability. Both sides reaffirmed their support for each other’s core national interests and agreed to maintain close coordination to deepen their strategic partnership.
